The Institution
Ludwigsburg University of Education of (LUE) is a modern center of competence for education with four interwoven specialties: school education, extracurricular education with children and youth, adult education and further education, as well as cultural and social education.
The institute of Natural Sciences and Technics is expertised in educational research since more than 40 years, especially in empirical research. Teacher formation at the LUE combines subject matter knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge integratively.
Working Group
The PATHWAY working group uses inquiry-based approaches to biodiversity teaching for about ten years, inquiry-based science education is part of of the university curriculum since 2003. Thus, the LUE working group is experienced in IBSE in different fields of biology education whic has been published several times.
